Membership
The board consists of eleven members appointed by the commissioner in accordance with the following provisions:
One aerial applicator who is a commercial applicator appointed from a list of three persons nominated by the Louisiana Agricultural Aviation Association.
One ground applicator who is a commercial applicator appointed from a list of three persons nominated by the Louisiana Vegetation Management Association.
One chemical representative appointed from a list of three persons nominated by the Louisiana Ag Industries Association.
One agricultural consultant appointed from a list of three persons nominated by the Louisiana Agricultural Consultants' Association.
One pesticide salesperson appointed from the state at large.
One person appointed from a list of three persons nominated by the Louisiana Mosquito Control Association.
One farmer who is a private applicator appointed from a list of three persons nominated by the Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation.
One farmer who is a private applicator appointed from the state at large.
Two persons appointed from a list of six persons, two of whom shall be nominated by the Louisiana Wildlife Federation, two of whom shall be nominated by the Sierra Club, and two of whom shall be nominated by the Audubon Society.
One Louisiana member of the Society of Toxicology with an advanced degree in toxicology appointed from a list of three persons nominated by the Louisiana members of the Society of Toxicology.
