The Louisiana Market Bulletin, first published in 1906 ( view the March 30, 1918 issue ), is produced under the authority of La. R.S. 3:2(A) for the purpose of promoting and advancing agriculture and forestry.
The Market Bulletin assists in marketing Louisiana products and services not normally available through commercial channels and also disseminates news and information to the agricultural community. Additionally, classified ads in the Market Bulletin enable thousands of people to buy and sell all types of farm, home, and garden-related items.
The Louisiana Market Bulletin is published in print every other week, costs just $10 for an annual subscription, and has about 8,000 readers.
In the interest of our print subscribers, the current issue is posted online no earlier than two weeks following the publish date.
Ads are free to submit for subscribers.
Subscriptions, classified ads, and past issues
Subscribe today to have a copy of the Market Bulletin delivered to your door every two weeks. That's 26 issues for only $10 a year.
There are two ways to subscribe:

Mail: Complete and submit this subscription form , along with a check or money order. (You can pay for up to 3 years at a time.)
Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing. Subscription requests cannot be processed over the phone.
As a public service, Market Bulletin advertisements are free to all subscribers who are Louisiana residents. (Out-of-state subscribers can submit "want" ads only.)
Ads may not exceed 25 words and must include contact information and the price of each item for sale.
Due to page limits, ads are printed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Market Bulletin assumes no responsibility for any notice appearing in the bulletin nor for any transaction resulting from published notices.
Advertisers are cautioned that it is against the law to misrepresent any product offered for sale in a public notice or advertisement carried in any publication that is delivered through the United States mail.
Commercial listings or advertisements from anyone acting in the capacity of an agent cannot be accepted.
